Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started working with you?

You are welcome to schedule a free 10-15 minute call with me on the Contact page. From there, we will discuss challenges and treatment ideas to determine if we're a good fit to work together. If so, we'll schedule an intake session at the end of the call and you will get an email with my digital intake packet.

What are your fees?

For a 50 minute session, the cost is $125. The intake session is the same length and cost - because you fill out the documents prior to when we meet, this allows for us to save time and dig right in. If you will miss a session, I ask for 48 hours notice. Late cancellation or no shows will be charged full price, as I reserve that spot specifically for you.

Do you take my insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and not currently paneled with insurance companies. Although I can't guarantee you will be reimbursed in full, I can provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. You can call your insurance company prior to seeing me to ask about your Out of Network and reimbursement benefits.

How do I schedule appointments?

Our initial intake session will be scheduled at the end of our phone conversation if we determine we're a good fit for each other. After that, you can schedule with me at the end of your appointment or digitally via my Electronic Health Record program.

How frequent/long is therapy?

Each session itself is 50 minutes and, as we start our work together, we meet weekly. As you make progress on your goals, we can re-evaluate the frequency of our meetings. The overall length of treatment is unique to your needs.

Do you provide telehealth/teletherapy?

Yes! I am happy to provide you convenient teletherapy through my electronic health record system, Simple Practice. This guarantees a high level of security and confidentiality on my end; you will be asked to secure your end of the call as well.

What if I need help immediately?

If you are in urgent need of help, please contact local law enforcement at 911 or our local Crisis Response Unit at (509) 783-0500 (for Tri-Cities, WA.)
